Kim (Thien) Dinh

Kim (Thien) Dinh (they/them) is a cultural worker, illustration artist, and filmmaker based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Kim was born and grew up in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam, and immigrated to the United States at the age of 14. As a movement artist, Kim focuses on storytelling to move people into action. Kim’s past works include producing social justice campaign media, and as an illustrator for the docuseries How We Take Root, Southeast Asian Resettlement Stories in Philadelphia (premiered at Tribeca in 2023). As an organizer, Kim has spent the last 10 years in the labor and immigrant rights movements as a communicator, storyteller, and organizer.
